I really wonder why Patrick Watson isn't more well known. Probably because of his unique style, but that's no excuse. His music is great, soothing, calm, and yet lively, and it's not without its share of messages.
They (because it's really a band!) to be known and recognized as an important part of Montreal's lesser known musical artists. Buy their albums, they're worth every single penny you'll dish out for them.
Close to Paradise is the first song on the similarly titled album, and it's one of my favourite tunes, ever.
