I remember it was called 'Shadows and Light'. The other obvious link between Mitchell and Pat is Jaco Pastorious. His best bass work is on her 'Hejira' album which I recommend to you with best wishes!

I guess we all have our faves! Good luck to you and thank God we all like different things. By the way, do you know he solos on Joni Mitchells live album (cant remember the name... something and light?). Not a lot of people know that! I was a big fan of hers too until she lost her way in the early eighties. For best May solo it has to be on 'So may it secretly begin' from Still Life. (IMHO)

I absolutely disagree. I had never heard any other amazing and sensitive solo like the Pat's solo in "Here To Stay" or the May's solo in "To The End Of The World" or any other sweet and beautiful melody like the final melody of this song. I think that "We Live Here" is one of the most enriching albums on their career. : )

Nice tune. Have been a big fan since '84. But his best stuff remains on First Circle, Still Life and Letter from Home. This album is at times a little bland.
