Two years earlier on July 9th, 1955 it entered Billboard's Top 100 chart; and on September 17th, 1955 it peaked at #1 {for 2 weeks} on Billboard's Most Played In Jukeboxes chart... And on June 11th, 1955 the original version by Fats Domino reached #1 {for 10 weeks} on Billboard's R&B Best Sellers chart...
