You're quite a chick but honestly - your technique needs improving. Don't try to adopt insane vocal styles like Russell's - it's just not your cup of tea and that could be awesome. Why? You have a nice voice and could make a more private, personal take on the song. At some sections you don't follow the exact original rhythmic of the vocals and it sounds great. But most of the time you try to sing it along with the record and just sounds like a torture. Singing should be a pleasure.I'm saying this with best intentions, I'm not trying to offend you in any way. With that said, I think you should rethink the whole song and make it your way, make it fit your voice.Keep it up!
