Hmm, a song with darkly ambiguous lyrics which touch on rejection and suicide (matched with a jaunty melody for ironic effect) danced to by a British girl dance troupe dressed as Southern belles on a British Royal Naval aircraft carrier anchored off Africa...?...

OK so what we have here is a a cheesy dance troupe, dancing on a naval destroyer to a Barbara Steisand song. Is that seriously post-modernist, or what? Well you have to admire the sheer weirdness of it.

They are seen on HMS Triumph ( A repair ship based on an aircraft carrier) as well as a Leander Class frigate (General Purpose Group) With one of the girls dancing beside a pair of Sea Cat practice rounds,as well as a diesel powered submarine of the Porpoise or Oberon class.
Now all I have to do is name all the dancers !

Gawd! *LOL* Love the song but this dance and the location have nothing to do with each other.
