CD version of the amazing Sweet Suburban Sky by Irish songwriter Paddy Casey, as it appeared on his 1999 debut album Amen (So Be It), slightly different from the live version uploaded somewhere in here on Youtube.
The first time I came across this song was at the 2008 Mountain Stage festival in Charleston, WV, where Paddy Casey, being one of the performers, completely captivated me with his very first tune, Sweet Suburban Sky. To be honest I dont like most of his other work, but this song is just great. Enjoy.

That riff is all over rock and folk, but this is a simple,great song. I first heard it Paddy's friends flat on the south circular rd, Paddy showed me his new blue Takamine? ,he'd just gotten signed, and everyone there was happy for him.11 years ago

paddy really came out with some gems. i couldn't call myself a fan of his because a lot of his work, especially his later work really grated on me, but songs like this, winters fire, and rain water are pretty amazing songs. i just wish he had stuck to that style more, as he has proven to be very good at it.12 years ago
