It was our one and only album as the Juliana Hatfield Three and now we are reforming to make a new full-length album. We (Dean Fisher, Todd Philips, and I, Juliana) will be documenting our progress in the studio and we will be checking in with you to show you what’s happening. Reuniting! Chemistry!"

By 1992, singer/songwriter Juliana Hatfield was already a prolific figure on the indie rock scene, having fronted Blake Babies and playing bass with The Lemonheads. Around that time, she recruited Moving Targets drummer Todd Phillips and Thudpucker bassist Dean Fisher to form The Juliana Hatfield Three. They released one excellent album, 1993’s Become What You Are, and scored the college rock radio hit, “My Sister”. Despite the success, Hatfield abruptly returned to her solo career with 1995’s Only Everything and hasn’t looked back, until now. The Juliana Hatfield Three will release Whatever, My Love, the reunited band’s first new album in 22 years, later this month. Today's Song of the Day, "Ordinary Guy", the second single the reunited trio has shared, features Hatfield lamenting her turbulent relationships over distorted guitars and load of 90s alt-rock goodness.10 years ago
