If you "feel" the vocals don't match, then maybe you have been listening to too much of the same stuff? When you come to expect certain sounds? I like the variety and being surprised personally. If I don't like it, I move on. This however, I do like, and I can't wait to see them at Heavy Montreal in a few months. I know I'm such a huge faggot, but seriously. I can't bear Jukka's voice. Don't get me wrong. I've listened to metal for years, more specifically to melodeath. I fucking love melodeath, yes, and I've been fan of Omnium Gatherum for years. It's just that his voice for me, rather than raspy and guttural, sounds more like burping. I can't immerse myself completely on those magnificent guitar leads with that in mind, and I just can't help it. I wish I could, seriously, but I just can't. Man.. I love the music, it's incredible. But the screams.. i love so many different kinds of screams/ growls. Everything from metalcore stuff to opeth and cattle decap.
