My mother teach me this song when I Was A girl. My mother allways went through the house and sang! Love her, and miss her! G.

When he started singing in my mother tongue, my heart started beating so much louder than before.

Thank you for a bit of history around these parts.

I don't know why, but it reminded me of Johnny Cash, at least the English part.

Omnia was a group of FRIENDS that did re-enacments. They began to make music, the Morrighan is from that time. Over time the group changed, which is normal, but steve became more & more tyranical & fought with Luka. I like Luka, listen to Odi & Amo. Luka was the soul of this group & they lost it. It ain't whining, it's the truth!

It is Omnia, because Omnia do what they want.^^ And it sounds that old, because it IS that old. It's a poem by a german soldier in the First World War, and there are uncountable interpreations of it; the best known maybe is by Marlene Dietrich, she already sang it to GIs in the Second World War when she performed for them. (:

I love it how everyone's saying they aren't Omnia anymore, just because they made an album in a style that's unusual for them. It would be a little boring, if every album would sound exactly the same, wouldn't it? So stop whining and enjoy the other albums until they bring out their next album.

o.O what had happened to Omnia, this song sounds like something my grandma would like to hear. After listening to Xtatica I thought wow this might be a great Album now I am not so sure anymore. Well I am going to listen to the other songs and decide, but that song is sooo not Omnia in my opinion...

In new album Musick and Poetree, they covered some old songs, this is one of those, this was very popular among both russian and german soldiers during ww2,and original of the song is in german,i even love the idea of covering this, and it sounds really goodç Beautiful.

@quineloe Because I used to love Omnia, and I want to know what they do know before making a judgment... I don't know if I like a song if I didn't listen to it! It makes sense, isn't it? ;)

@Elerinna1990 Why even click on it when you know you won't like it? Ok, you may have a soul - but then you lack something else.
