She's a total dag (like all us Aussies are at heart, one of the reasons she is so well-loved by us, no pretentiousness) but such a beautiful dag with such a beautiful voice! I so doubt it. :) I've given up on Olivia returning to pop. She said during the interview that I reference below, that the tour that she is doing "could be it". Sounds like she just wants to be with her new hubby and work with her wellness center. That interview though was right after all the negative press over her Christmas video with John Travolta.

Thank you for the musicians/band backgrounds and information! I have fallen in love with this video, and the band! After repeated viewing on a VHS tape I found I'm thinking this looks like a touring band let me go on YouTubes and see what others in the Olivia-know have to say and here it is! She had an AMAZING band for that tour (and this video)! Tom Scott - MD/Sax/flute, Buzz Feiten - Guitar, Michael Landau - Guitar, Robert "Pops" Popwell - Bass, and the late Carlos Vega - Drums are all LA Session legends. They were part of the group that the guys in Toto ran around with, and along with theToto gang played on literally hundreds of records that practically everyone on Earth has heard. The live versions on that tour are better than most of the album cuts.The band was that good!

Did you hear the A Few Best Men Soundtrack? Lots of new pop material on there. Most are cover versions given the dance remix treatment, but there's one new John Farrar-penned song, 'Weightless'. And the REAL dance/pop album is apparently still due to come!

It wasn't Olivia's song originally - it was Lee Ritenour's (he wrote it). It was on his album Rit 2, vocals by Eric Tagg. Olivia is covering that. Stevie did a demo at around the same time, so it's not clear who recorded it first. I agree, Olivia's version is best, but to be fair, Stevie's is just a demo so there's no way of knowing how the finished product would have sounded.
