Michel Berger was the man who Veronique Sanson was thinking of when writting, composing, and interpreting the song in the first place, this is just an adaptation, it is not a personnal song though I admit it can still have personnal meaning for her too as it has a universal subject and lyrics.

Fellow Aussie Helen Reddy's hit "Emotion" is a totally different translation of the same song.

I loved to emulate her voice singing this song on ny parents' vinyl album and think I did a pretty good job.

My older sister played this record to death when i was a little kid and it's haunted me ever since. I found it to be kinda' spooky and beautiful. I've only just now found out the title of this sublime tune and gotten to hear it again for the first time in 35 years :-)

My mum and dad had this album when I was growing up - love it.
