Never heard such terse, direct lyrics portray such a complexity of emotion... and the chord work! What the fuck! Switching major and minor like a champ! Very reminiscent of beatles indeed. Kevin Barns writes some of the most interesting songs I've ever heard. I might have to do a piano cover of this.
