I love Oceansize, from Amputee to SuperImposter, and Biffy Clyro, from Iname to Black Chandelier. Let's not discuss what's better. If you dislike either one, just don't listen to them and stop ranting about their musical direction or whatever. They are free to do as they please and I'm pretty sure all of them love what they do.

I'd rather see Oceansize still alive making great rock songs, even if they gave up 7 minute songs and started producing some singles. You see, I like having something fresh and I like seeing musicians I admire becoming successful. First of all, both Gambler and Vennart seem to be proud of Biffy and I'd go as far as saying maybe they would feel more dignified and accomplished if they were making their own mainstream music rather than being touring 'extra' musicians for a mainstream rock band.

Have to agree with you there - I don't think it's a particularly commercial album - in fact it's somewhat less mainstream-accessible than its predecessor. I like both about equally.

I've never understood how some people consider Everyone Into Position to be in any way commercial. It might be less experimental, some songs might be more simple in structure, but they're still beautiful and certainly not 'commercial'. Not to my ears, anyway.

I don't like how they went commercial on some of the songs on this album. I much prefer frames. This album is not bad, but lacking the uniqueness of frames.

anyone who didn't understand this record - doesnt understand commercialism and the pressures is places upon us all - and to still produce something of this caliber. Look to this bands "commrad-in-amps" (biffy clyro) Who have made nothing but shite since going main stream. I think every true Oceansize fan can admit they are glad the band never went the 'clyro' route.
