Heard him do this style version in Detroit in 2002.  We were absolutely blown away.  It took me several years to realize Ryan Adams had repackaged Wonderwall in this manner.  Rather than getting snippy or knocking it, Noel seems to have quietly embraced it.  For that, he responded by covering the cover and it's absolutely fantastic.  Oasis and Adams toured together in the mid 2000s, with Noel particularly seeming to take a liking to the American songwriter.  Two minds like that could write one hell of an album.  Until then, maybe they will pair up for some more one-off live shows as they did in 2016.  Sorry Liam, Noel dong Ryan Adams is tops.

I love this version. I love the original version.I think Noel has a better voice for the acoustic version and Liam has a better voice for the original ..imo anyway.My ex used to sing this to me over Skype when we lived 6 hours away. :) good memories! Great song :]
