@fonz99ca .. This got little, next to zero airplay here, as well .. I have a friend up in Regina Beach, Saskatchewan .. Keep wanting to go for a visit .. Maybe I'll catch a train ride if I can get up there!

@creekfreakjr .. Great guys and great group of WorldClass musicians, indeed, My Friend! They are still out on the road amazing audiences with every show .. Their latest CD is very, very, very good! But, it's not quite the same without Ibby .. Sometimes bands and friends grow apart

@creekfreakjr .. Hey CFjr! This one is in the key of G and is pretty straight forward .. not too many "twists and turns" .. I'm with you, I'm a big fan of this band, too .. "Acoustic" is a terrific album .. Too bad radio didn't show it much respect .. chordie.com has some NittyGrittyDirtBand songs, but mostly their more well known tunes .. Give it a look-see

@SouthCarolinaPicker Hey Man I am a huge ngdb fan, thanks so much for posting this. I will never forget the first time I heard this album, I thought man this is what music should sound like. Any idea whre I can get the tabs?

@rockon18 .. Hey RO18! Each time I have attempted to upload a Warner Brothers era song of theirs, WMG exerts its rights and blocks it.. Until they relent, it is unlikely that I can upload any of that material.. It's a shame, too, because they recorded some terrific songs then..

@SouthCarolinaPicker Hey, Thanks so much, Pard. If you ever come across any more vids with the Bernie Leadon lineup (outside of "Fishin' in the Dark") I hope you'll post 'em too.

@cjthemusicman .. This is one of my favorites! Ibby and his co-writers chronicle a vivid Canadian travelogue, indeed, CJtheMM.. The Nitty Gritty Dirt band is truly among the very best of their genre.. ChooChooo :)

Thank you for this wonderful train song by an under-rated group. Talk about longevity! Into my Train Playlist it goes. :) Wonderful share, my friend. I love the way the lyrics take us on a cross-Canada trip along those steel rails. :)))
