Just out of curiosity what's the basis for the fact that he is drunk? I know he drank and it wasn't well documented, so he was probably drinking at a lot of concerts but it seems to be everyone marc this one as drunk. He often would mumble lyrics, the solo to this would often be different, it's not unlike a guitarist to drop a pic it's quite common actually. So really what is the basis here for this being the only video marked him being drunk? what makes it such a big deal I guess is my real question. it doesn't seem like a really bad performance or anything other than the beginning but he was having trouble hearing through the monitors is what I believe was going on

I met Kurt and Krist after the show in St.Louis ,Missouri... 9/16/91.... I didn't even know who Nirvana were then I went along with a friend... Of all the dumb things I could of said after meeting them behind (Mississippi Nights).. a now closed bar/rock hall..,... I said.. "Thanks for coming to our city " "Are you guys from here".... Kurt said thanks and Krist said jokingly "Were from Kansas.".... That is my Nirvana story... It lasted about 20 seconds....
