I don't know why but I find Nina's version of this instrumental to be very "Halloweeny". I'm picturing skeletons performing a dance macabre and things of that nature.

She was classically-minded early on. Only interested in Bach and other masters. She was not accepted to any classical conservatories due (most likely) to the colour of her skin. This is how she ended up playing in bars for money, which in turn led a bar manager to tell her she had to sing songs too or else she lost the job.
