I think it's less about a bad marriage and more about a guy who just shouldn't have gotten married at all, to anyone, at least not at the time of his life when he did. He has been dishonest with himself and now he is paying a big price. And yeah, that's what a guitar solo should be.

Truth is difficult to express but Kershaw has nailed how it feels to be a young man caught in a bad marriage. Torn between himself and what he thinks he's supposed to be. And what about that guitar solo, just perfect, not too flash and not too simple.
