I'm from liverpool too. I wouldn't say the scouse accent is as friendly as Nicola makes out. It definitely can be, but it can also sound threatening when it's heavy. The thing with most Liverpool people is that they are just so open. They can be incredibly lovely, but the horrible ones can be absolutely awful. At least it isn't a non entity.
