I had just turned thirteen years old in 1981 and had moved back to San Francisco , after a year in the suburbs of Palo Alto, Ca. There were so many genres of music that was rocking and this odd number definitely caught my attention, especially dance oriented type music, this is among my favorites.

Correct - distribution of New Music 12 inch singles was patchy by this time as their record label really wanted a more 'poppy sound' what they got was fantastic ... but so far out there that most of the record buying public needed a telescope to 'get it'. Owing more to Eno than ELO the guys didn't 'sell out' - but tellingly this would be there last album release under the banner New Music. Sold as 'Geek Pop' hoping that fans of John Foxx, Thomas Dolby, Buggles and The Cure/Cult would buy
