Neil Young performs "Unknown Legend" live at the Farm Aid concert in Mansfield, Massachusetts on September 20, 2008. Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid's board of directors in 2001.

he uses a steel guitar in all of these versions. But this steel guitar player really makes it twang. Makes it sound like it was made for the Grand Ole Opry. Which i believe Neil would get a standing O for this performance. Sounds just like a country hit. Play it today on the Country stations and i bet it would chart.
