+pokerface15085 I think by those lines it means to embrace the people who have faults but don't accept their mess-ups and failures as who they are. Just like God did for us in Romans 5:8 says, "But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." :) Hope that helps.

I take this as meaning - since NTB is implicitly Christian southern rock - that we should not merely accept our calling as humans and followers of Jesus Christ. No, we should, in fact, embrace it. With all our heart and soul. To serve, and to love those around us. The Chursh can't just sleep in an empty tomb. We are the bringers of salvation, set up by Christ on this earth. We were born to share the Gospel, and to love on everyone around us.

Acceptance is different than Embracing...Acceptance means to let it in and you feel completely whole with it...like coinciding with it,the world in this song..., but embracing is just to love, You love the people of this world, although you may not "accept" what people in it believe...We were born to "Love", not let what is in the world affect us... :) one of my favorite lines of any of their songs
