My dad is alright. He's quite different from me, but I accept that, and his heart is in the right place. My parents got divorced when I was 6. I go long periods without seeing my father, but he is still alive at this time and I send him a birthday card every year. It is a decent song. Neal Morse is a brilliant songwriter. :) The rest of the album is good, but this and Leah are by far the two I enjoy most. Thank you for commenting, and please check out some of the other songs I've uploaded.

Some of the most touching lyrics I know. I had sometimes a difficult relationship with my dad, I blame him for a lack of confidence in the beginning of my adult life. I can relate, and this song is really moving me. The whole album is amazing by the way
