Happy birthday to Narada Michael Walden, who celebrated his 63rd birthday yesterday, Narada really first came to prominence when he played drums on the cult status album by James Mason, incidently James has a new album out anytime now, this track soon had everyone doing their thang on the floors, taken from his self produced Dance Of Life album, it even has a similar title to James Mason's album, Narada only changed the Rhythm to Dance of life

WHY do I hear Patrice Rushen in this song? Does anyone know if she did backup vocals or even some music on this? I can't sleep until I find out!

Just another example of excellent stuff...so-called "Urban Adult Contemporary" radio won't play! What's with THAT?

In the spring of 1980, he was the opening act of Rufus/Chaka Kahn & The Brothers Johnson! That was my first time hearing about him.
