More so than ANYONE else I think Matt encapsulates what a 'raver' looked like. I wanted a pair of those 'rave' glasses he wore, so much! Those moves were the start of the a new kind of dance, for sure. I remember being in my local nightclub in 1991, aged 17 (I'd sneaked in), and turning around to see a clone of Matt, dancing exactly like him and dressed almost identically, with glasses and long hair. I was absolutely transfixed. From that moment on, I knew what I wanted to be. GREAT DAYS. :)
