Also, since I mentioned Jeff Parish, I should also mention I've contacted him since then, and he's actually a pretty cool guy. If you're into rare NOLA stuff, he's got a bunch of it (but he's a collector, so he doesn't like sharing mp3s of his rare stuff, normally). His blog [muzikngeneral] is a good source of information, but almost every download he used to have on it was on megaupload (so links are dead). He's working on a mix of rare/unrls Big Boy stuff, and we might collab on it, too.

Lol, I can totally relate - a couple years ago a guy named Jeff Parish put a low quality version of this track on the net, and i had a similar reaction. In fact, I had to find and buy the vinyl just so I could get the clean version; the CD is impossible to locate. Anyway, if you can be just a little more patient, I'm working on finalizing the mix and I'm making a non-screwed version of it, too! I'll be sure to post a reply here so you know it's ready!

If I came off a little harsh, it's because we all want this remix in original form after all these years. Looking for that damn CD single for way too fucking long. A friend of mine gave me your link getting my hopes up once again. I don't care for the screwed stuff and this was just pouring salt in an open wound for me…
