@softhausstudio Syd had some mental health problems but that does not mean he was insane. He was not a crazy nut that could not function and had to be institutionalized. He lived alone in his mom's house, went out to buy news papers, and even did do-it-yourself home repairs and made stuff such as custom speakers. The last few years of his life were documented by his sister more than the 30 years before it.

Yoko Ono was hosting a performance art piece their two and many painting were displayed all at the same time. Among hundreds of people and celebrities who came John Lennon showed up making it the first time the two of them were in one place. Pink Floyd brought Lennon and Ono together! They sell the video on Ebay I think.
