Just had a dark thought. Cat Tail is Meadbrook's descendent. In other words before she was banished she apparently had a foal. We don't know if any of the others had descendents living but in the case of Meadowbrook we can guess for sure she had family which she now has to cope with the idea that they all grew old and died in her absence. That she not only outlived her own child but likely upwards of 50 generations of her family!
