@Heartlesson If you read the lyrics , it's about all types of corruption . Not just THE MAJOR, which is to be the overall cause . Commonly overlooked, he kinda explains . Example , some one pokes you . They keep poking you but it doesn't hurt but it doesn't feel right. It's not humane to just punch the guy but find out why first. Anyways , they keep poking you as if everything is fine. You continue to be settle and non chaotic . People come and say touching is illegal and always it has been. We came so now we have to arrest some one . The poker instigates it's you and you are charged of his crimes and you're innocence all at the same time as he points at you. Sometimes it's life and an example of it, most cases a boss or a situation you can't do nothing about .

One question... why did no metal band do this BEFORE rap came out if it was such a big part of hard rock/heavy metal culture? And one more actually... why the cross genre hate? There IS good rap. If you can play at least 3 instruments decently, read music well or design beats as well as the best of any genre then you can have a legitimate opinion; at least it'll be informed... until then I'm going to have to assume you were kidding or a hater who's uninformed

The whole song is about not being confined to a narrow black and white perception. Mudvayne are often called Nu-metal. Trying to fit something grey into a black and white label is what Nu-metal is all about. If you want to be really accurate then a system of defining the grey of all styles can certainly be created. You could define all the different ratios of attributes and then have a criteria for each style where each style has a certain ratio of attributes. .
