I interpret this as: They just got married (maybe Niagara Falls is part of the honeymoon). She's a party animal, live-for-the-good times kind of girl (and maybe also a gold digger). He's a lot older than her and seeing how vivacious and energetic she is, realization is slowly dawning that she's too young for him and that they're out of touch with each other, and he's suddenly realizing his youth's slipped away. The way he looks at the dinosaurs, its like he can kind of identify with them. He watches his wife's energy in awe, and loves her being around, but ultimately decides that if he can't be young and carefree like her then he'd rather not be around at all. What is life without youth? The exit sign after he's finished looking at the dinosaurs feels like a clue. When he realizes all of this he feels a sense of peace from it, and having made his decision he enjoys one final meal.

I agree with the comment below. In Asia, it is normal to see a sugar daddy. In the first part of the video it shows that he is taking her to places that she likes-wax museum and the bar. But he doesnt enjoy it or the glamour of it all- the flashing lights, hollywood actors in wax. His actual vacation starts when he explores the city on his own, content in his own company and on doing activites that he appreciates (swimming, the dinosaur theme park, and Niagara falls).

This video is such a trip for me being from the city of niagara falls. first of all awesome song. but it just showcases the typical day out in my city. hangout on clifton hill. take a walk by the falls, just stare at its beauty and power and not say a word. get a little tipsy and go to the midway with a fine lady have some fun and go into that photobooth and get a silly portrait done. then just get smashed at boston pizza and play bowling and dance a bit :P such a strange town of just 80,000 people

I still think the video is more of rich old man with money wants love and young needy woman. He realizes its not what he wants and shes opposite of him doing things she wants to do. He gets sick of it and ends his life because he is never happy. All older men get younger girls because the younger girls want money and security.

Why does this video make me feel sad? Like I'm remembering something I messed up.

In Asian cultures a sugar daddy is something wildly accepted. As shown she has a big ring, and they are sleeping together, as to many other references to sex in the video. I think the video is showing how he is no longer happy with his lifestyle. His summers feel like winters, as beautiful women no longer make him happy. At the end of the video he is by himself and sighs, feeling much better about himself, as what makes him happy is the true beauty of nature.

Love this song and great video! Is the video a commentary of all the "great things" people think they want in life (picturesque vacations, pretty girl, diamond rings, etc.), but when you get up close things are not always what it seems and you see the "fakeness" in reality?
