Shot from the 11th row, pretty much dead center. Lots of shifting due to some (huge) heads that kept popping up in my way, lol... Last song, last show. Hate that it's come to an end, but there's word of a US tour now.

Going to see Ian and the Rant Band this coming Friday everning. I'll not be upset if they play this one. Hard to match the passion here, though.

Best show ending song ever.

They really need to take this on a World Tour. A live DVD and a new album would make this old guy very happy. Still kicking ass! Love live Mott the Hoople

The last song Mott ever did. Mick Ronson originally played guitar. I've always loved this song. Its sentimental and what Ian does the best: makes you emotional. The end of the greatests underground cult band in history.

@tazzie03 Thanks for the mention - Tazzie. I have to say that this was the song that worked worse without my presence! Morgan

@FairBritannia The band was firm that it was to be original members only. Morgan held an exhibit of his photography in London simultaneous with the shows, and many fans went to meet him. He was great about it, though he definitely wanted to be included. He, Blue Weaver and Mick Bolton also gave a performance of ex-MTH keyboardists. Morgan made many friends from all this. Luther, I think, was very upset about not being included and spent the week in his flat. He was not seen at the shows.

My birthday was on the 7th so desperately wanted to be there but was 7,000 miles away. Thanks for posting this, real lump in the throat stuff. Wish I'd been there.

I'm from St. Louis MO and there is this kick ass radio station called KSHE. They have been around since 1967. With that being said almost all the under-rated rock bands from the late 60's70's80's90's are called KSHE Classics. These classics are NOT forgotten around here KSHE plays them all the time. Mott is no exception to a Kshe Classic. Check this station out if you do not believe me. They are online. Just do a Search for KSHE 95

Thanks Ofifoto. Just been re-living it all again. I was there 2nd night and last night. Great vids and great sound. The best I've seen on here. The trouble is, every gig I've been to since has seemed tame by comparison. Long live Mott! "Thanks for great trip"

Thanks for posting this - my wife and I were in the circle the same night, and it was a truly magical experience to see "the mott" together again. Thanks for allowing us to enjoy the experience all over again... Oh, and: "Goodbye... Goodbye" ;-)

Oh god that brought me right back. Was right up front, leaning on the stage, waving goodbye and praying it wouldn't be goodbye. Hopes for more shows so we can continue the great trip.
