I remember seeing MTH in 1973 in Columbus OH. They were incredible as usual. The opening act was Aerosmith who I'd not heard of yet. Robin Trower played next. Turned out to be one incredible night!

I don't know what's happened to him, but he ws pretty bad when I saw Bad Co - they had Heart's old lead guitarist playing backing him up and doing most of the tricky stuff. Quite sad really.

Unfortunately it is Mick Ralphs, I saw him with Bad Company a couple of years ago, and he can't play any more!

@fanofprotopic: he's fallen a LONG way if thats the case - used to be a cracking guitarist did Mick Ralphs.

Yes, absolutely, he IS a top guy. Without his efforts, there likely would never have been a reunion. I'm absolutely not trying to start a war of words with you here, but watching him play on the encore each of the five nights in London, it was obvious he hadn't the energy to have played even one show full on. I hate that as much as anyone who was there, and can only hope that he'll be able to play the rumoured US dates to come next year.

Sadly, it's not that he wasn't allowed to play, but that he wasn't capable of playing, due to his condition. At least he came out and gave his all on the encore...
