i had never listened to or heard of these guys back in the early 90s...this song has something about it that actually FEELS like the time in which it was made...to me this is new music.......i see now why some people always refer to them when talking about the Seattle music scene...i love it when i discover music like that...

I always find myself wondering whose baby that is. It's featured in the MLB CD jacket liner and elsewhere. Was it Andy's and if so, who was mom? Just curious. As for the heroin rants at the bottom, I saw Kim Thaiyl (sp) from Soundgarden talking about substance abuse and when the got to Wood, he simply said "Andy didn't have a problem. He LIKED doing heroin. There was nothing genetic about it (making a reference to alcoholism and it's "disease" tag)." My guess is he just got some really strong stuff in SF when he was there and got caught off guard. Or, he idolized Bolan and other Glam Rockers so much he decided to die at a high point. No one will ever really know. I do miss his band's music immensely though.

I collect band interviews, they from utube too, but he was just so special. Screw Heroin. Screw Seattle drug profiteering off of up and coming musicians. In fact, screw that type of life. Selling a possible death is a risk these asses are willing to take. They have all manner of candy and are right next door at the liquor store too. Its a predatory way to live. These people don't all do it for fun, they are really fuc%in depressed. F you. Rethink your money making method, for fuks sake get help with your problem! Talk to a phone counselor. Don't kill yourself like I just learned a distant friend did last week. He was close a long time ago and is no longer with us. WHY?????. Please. You are loved. Your family will never hate you completely. CALL THEM. Call your sister or brother dammit! One or more of us will be glad to help you. Call anyone but the ones that bring you down. Life loves you too much.

RIP Danny. my childhood friend who I just found out let life slip away from him one night last week in Ohio, where my mom's best friend moved when I was a kid. He was only a year and a half older than me. I hope you are gazing down on the ones who love you, who you forgot did.
