All of my favorite Heart songs are ones written and/or co-written by Ann and Nancy. They wrote all of their own music until the mid-late 80's. My favorite Heart albums are the most underrated: "Private Audition," and "Jupiter's Darling." Of course, I love all of their albums (except Brigade) but I've always had a penchant for "Private Audition." I totally agree with most of your choices in this video, and 100% agree with all of your choices from "Private Audition." I think that album is brilliant & timeless.

Personally I have never heard a bad Heart song, I love them all. I really liked Private Audition but it never caught on.

Completely agree with you there! The Private Audition and Passionworks albums really don't get the love they deserve. I could have put pretty much any song written by Ann and Nancy from those eras on the list and it would still have kicked just as much ass.

1983' "sleep alone" was as good as it gets for rock before heart's 1985 release but it too was not heard in 1983. 1980's "strange night" is an awesome song too and should have been put out as a single. and "strange euphoria" is really cool sounding too. Heart made tons of good songs but those songs barely got any radio play yet heart sill overcame the odds stacked against them by radio programmers who would never stop playing pat bentar in the early 1980s

I like the black and white picture of Ann around 3:03 where nancy has a bird or something in her hand. They look like sorceresses in mnay of these pictures. The first 9 months of 1982 were a dead zone for music in my opinion and it makes no sense that awesome songs like "cities burning" and "perfect stranger" were barely played back then. those song are still good 31 years later and should have been played a lot in 1982.

Heart, {Ann and Nancy} has ALWAYS been strong, it's only the record companies that are responsible for any heart, um, annoyances!

"Rockin Heaven Down" might be my favorite lesser known Heart tune, but these are all great! And then of course there's the "Jupiters Darling" album, which contains 16 underrated songs!

It's a bonus track that was recorded during the Bebe Le Strange recording sessions and was included on the remastered version that came out in 2004.

Sweet Darlin' is a beautiful song! Always loved that one... so hard to pick a favorite, they just have so many great songs..
