Mortal Dead was a old school death/grind band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin (US).
They recorded only a demo named "Rancid disembowelment" in 1990.
This song is taken from the "V.A. - History of things to come (Underground compilation, 1994).

Fantastic.. I have heard the demo but nothing with this sound quality.. Makes me wish they would have released a full length.. So many Great Death Metal Bands that were Full Length worthy and ready.. The flood Gates where open during the early 90's But by the time many of these bands were recognized Death Metal was a dying genre and it got real hard real fast to get signed to a label or put out a proper release... Its ashame that the interest in these bands took so long to be appreciated.. The world missed out on some Killer DM between 1995 to 2003.. 10 years ago
