Morning Musume is still Morning Musume, no matter what. from 1st gen to 8th gen, that same awesomeness is still passed down. the fact that they still perform these decade-old songs proves that even though the original members are long gone, MoMusu is still very capable of performing majestically and wowing their audience. besides, you can't criticize them for this b/c they don't even write their songs, TSUNKU does most of the songwriting.

It's true that Morning Musume has changed a lot, but they're not going downhill, they had worst times. They sell more now than in 2006 for sure.

i agree... i've been a fan before mari left... mari was one of my fav that time... it hurt to see her leaving but i love MM & that's just what i need to support them... & i'll still be their fan no matter how many generation they change...

these songs r sang by MORNING MUSUME... they r original as long as they r MORNING MUSUME... 1st gen is MORNING MUSUME, 2nd gen is MORNING MUSUME even now the 8th gen is MORNING MUSUME...

Your ideals and other fans who agree with you are what's hurting MM. They are not going downhill fast. And everyone who keeps comparing this current generation to the old generation is what's keeping MM from being able to move on. I rather much like this gen and the more mature songs that they've come out with instead of the silly genki songs that MM used to sing. Times have changed. Either move on or get out.
