Sorry - just saw the parenthesis = 1970. Hmm. Wonder if this was after The Isle Of Wight performance?

Only the Moodies could put music to a childrens story and make it work. Brilliant

Haha...good story! Ours was Toby; he used to 'run' away to the neighbours and they would bring him back. In the winter he slept most of the time in a box under the sink. We had a bunny too, but I never tried a race (Toby might have won lol!!)

we had a tortoise in 1970 poor guy would go all the way up the hill just to have my brother take him to the bottom again to climb to the top again and again and I brought baby bunnies into our living room and fed them with an eyedropper haha

I was 21 in 1970 and They helped shape My vision of what life should be, as they did Yours. Thanks Fellas.

He's ahead of the race......it's alright....Wow, what a great video....they are really the only band that harmonized like they did in a lower range with John giving those classic high notes....they sound a little like " rockified and musicfied MInstrel like Gregorian chants" when they all sing like this. I just love this track and has so much meaning for the classic tortoise and hare story. You can tell they really are having a good time with this tasty track...very cool song with a great.thx
