As I recall the Moody Blues prompted the "Flower Children" trend in the 60's. I considered myself as one and idolized Justin Hayward.

also the lead guitar on " Higher and Higher" May 10, 2015 Denver I have never seen that good of a lead guitar. That would be Justin Hayward .

just saw them in Denver; they hit every note perfectly. I think Justin did a better vocals now with Tuesday pm May 10, 2015 than he did at Isle if Wright. Moody Blues no Mike Pinder so the power of the 1970's MB was not there. You can not feel that majestic power like " Sunset". I never knew that John Lodge was such a vocal factor he is right there with Justin. I guess he is the only one that can keep up with the best rock vocalist of the music era. also Graham Edge had the energy of a 20 year old.

This band, this band, those musicians; they hit me hard when I was a kid and I could never let it go despite all of my musical trends and phases. Sometimes I get scoffed at for calling them my all time favorites, hmm, no comment.I was hooked at age 6 and today in 2015 I am still hooked on The Moody Blues; hopefully I'm not alone out there.

The Moody Blues are NOT in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, but the Beastie Boys, and Run DMC are... Seriously? The R&R HOF is a joke without the Moody Blues, Kansas, Doobie Bros., Yes, Jethro Tull (Ian Anderson), King Crimson, Chicago, Emerson, Lake, & Palmer, Mountain (Leslie West), Procol Harum, Robin Trower, Alvin Lee / Ten Years After.

True, when I was 13 and first heard the Moody's, I could not have known then that they would be still extremely important even today, nearly 50 years later. But I knew when I heard the likes of Nights and Tuesday Afternoon, that they would be forever part of my heart. I love this song. In fact I would have to seriously research to find a song that I really didn't like. Is there one? Great video. Thanks.

Moody Blues music was said to be pretentious and bombastic. I don't care about that. I do understand that if anyone came out with a review of new music saying that Moody music is timeless and immortal they would have been laughed at because how would they know? Moody Blues music is stunningly timeless and immortal. We can say that now. No one else compares.
