This doesn't sound live as such, but is a very different version to the original in terms of guitar sound, harmonies etc. sounds quite raw, but good for it. Maybe it was live after all?

A beautiful song. After it came out, I could only get a scratched up 45 copy. I played it all the time.

They are so young! Handsome & sweet. What a joy it is to watch them sing. They have such beautiful voices, and the song is such a joyful, hopeful one. Justin and John & the Moodies have always been my favorite. They have such a special gift. Sing forever boys!

One of my all time favorite songs. It really doesn't get much better than this, brilliant!

actually, justin recorded it with two chaps from 10cc but you wouldn't have known it if you saw them singing live - john was just as good as if he was on the original

Funny. Lodge doesnt play or sing on this single. It was a JH solo song. That's why it was never on the album but was good enough to promote it.

Blue guitar Fortune of my ways Making of my days New chord Counting up the ways Happiness is lazy If you don't know the song If you can't put the words to the tune Tell the rhyme from the reason What should it matter To the fool or the dreamer?

New hope Travelers in a storm Finding love is warm New day The world has just begun Our eyes have seen the sun If you don't know the way If you can't see the wood for the trees Taste the wine from the water Well what should it matter To the fool or the dreamer?

Hi Lyndy, the song was released about October 1975, justy after I started work at 16. One of those songs you can pinpoint to defined time in your life.
