Seeing these original 2" 24 track reels sitting in the sound booth at Casbah studio, Fullerton, Ca. while we were recording with Greg and Chaz was it for me.My other bandmates had no idea about this old Social Distortion stuff and why i was making a such big deal over it. To me these original reels should have been locked behind 3" of fireproof glass. I know Chaz who recorded this material died in an accident and i heard the studio burned up so i dont know if the reels exist anymore but if they do, i hope you can remix this and re-release as this recording is hurting some on the hi-hat, the cymbals and general overall punch.I wasnt a huge Social D fan but saw them play a bunch way back and imo this old stuff was very good and had influenced my playing. Our band was Childhood which then became BLAH or Born Lost and Hopeless9 years ago
