I thought she was fantastic. Saw it 2x live. She was hampered by the lifeless, lisping, horrible, terrible, miscast, awful, Denis O'Hare. Yup I said it. If u agree, reply and say "Amen." That was the most terrible performance of any actor on any professional stage I've ever seen, and I've been seeing shows since 1989. And many others who've been alive way longer to see shows since the 40s and 50s I'm sure would agree. It was abysmal and I'll never forget how he ruined the evening. No it wasn't a bad night - everyone who saw it said the same thing.

Amy Adams gives a valiant effort and is a more youthful interpretation of the Baker's Wife. I just think Joanna Gleason perfected this song and interpretation.
