Molly Hatchet is a southern rock band formed in Jacksonville, Florida in 1975. They are known for their hit song "Flirtin' with Disaster" from the album of the same title. Founded by Dave Hlubek and Steve Holland, Molly Hatchet took its name from a prostitute who allegedly mutilated and decapitated her clients. Most of the Molly Hatchet album covers feature heroic fantasy inspired art, some of which were painted by artist Frank Frazetta and Boris Vallejo.

Phil McCormack -- lead vocals

Bobby Ingram -- guitar, backing vocals

Dave Hlubek -- guitar

I don't know how anyone in their right mind can watch this and not fall off their chair laughing their ass off. The guitars are so distorted, and lack any tone at all. Also...can't play any of the songs note for note...that sucks! This band has gotten progressively worse over the years. Phil is just a complete waste of space on the stage....horrible vocalist. Dave back in the band is a joke...450lbs. of terrible guitar playing. How can you get worse as you age? I get better with age, and this guy gets worse...I don't get it. My grandson is a better player than Dave and he isn't even 10 years old. I give props to Bobby...I liked Devils Canyon...there were a few great songs on that record. If I were Bobby I would have gone with a different name and hired better players as side men.

Big original Hatchet fan here, but I've seriously heard better garage bands than these clowns. Dave looks totally bored.

I saw the real deal in 78,what was left of em in the 90's,they were weathered & shot then, this is just testament to anyone grabbing a mike & strapping on a guitar, going under what should be a retired name & being welcomed.Power to em fer gettin away with it.I heard they got all the free beer they could drink & a canned ham each

A disgrace to the original song/band.They are simply taking the Molly Hatchet name and using it for their own benefit with no respect at all to the original song/band.

Jeremy, they may be trying to carry on the memory of Hatchet but this is nothing more than a bar band using the Hatchet name. I am a HUGE Phil fan as a Roadduck and have heard his sing for years but it is time for Bobby to shut this mess down. Bruce, Banner, the late Duane and Steve cannot be proud of this mess.

I knew Danny very well and I know his family and love them dearly..The band now has carried on what Danny and Bruce, and Dave and Banner started ..and your right..YOU CANT REPLACE DANNY (RIP) but they ARE carryin on the music and giving fans the memory ...Weight issues should have nothing to do with the fact! Danny would be happy that his songs are keepin on....Please just respect that regardless of the facts! Check out the Ashley Brown Foundation if ya wanna show fan love to Danny

He has been clean and sober for 16 years. He has a greuling scheduel. He sings his ass off. You ? the same man? I bet you couldnt even sing happy birthday once, much less tour the world , sing every night and do all these special appearances. But you were right about one thing, you are sorry. And obviously dont know anything about what southern rock stands for.

this sucks,im sorry but i call it as i hear it ,the singer is trying with everthing in his lungs to sing.but aint gonna happen.nothin against him personally.sounds like he smokes anything that will stay lit. washing it down with hard booze.i been there.i was the same man.till i gave up the trash and let my voice heal.i was around when the first album came out. it will never be topped.
