Performing at the Stevens Sausage Neuse River Amphitheater in Smithfield, North Carolina during the Stevens Sausage presents the Smithfield Ham & Yam Festival on Friday May 4, 2012.

Molly Hatchet is a southern rock band formed in Jacksonville, Florida in 1975. They are known for their hit song "Flirtin' with Disaster" from the album of the same title. Founded by Dave Hlubek and Steve Holland, Molly Hatchet took its name from a prostitute who allegedly mutilated and decapitated her clients. Most of the Molly Hatchet album covers feature heroic fantasy inspired art, some of which were painted by artist Frank Frazetta and Boris Vallejo.

Phil McCormack -- lead vocals

Bobby Ingram -- guitar, backing vocals

Dave Hlubek -- guitar

This is NOT Molly Hatchet - The guitar players SUCK! Phil on vocals is so bad I cringed watching it. Felt bad for the bass player who is actually a great player. Dave Hlubek is a shell of his former self. Had I been asked to return to the band I founded...I would have shown up in shape, six string slinging, and a friggen VIKING! This is the saddest thing I have ever witnessed from a band.
