Is this Danny Joe Brown singing?? this sounds a lot like the 70s and early 80s Molly Hatchet.. not the band traveling around using their name.. great song though....

This song sounds like the perfect theme song for a cold night high in the Pecos getting pinned between a cougar and a wild hog. They were "talking" to each other about their 10 million year old feud. How fast can you climb a bluff?

This new version of MH is OK I guess. They don't suck as players but I don't hear the energy of the guys who started this project. If I remember right there are none of the original guys in this band any more. Again... not a bad song or bad playing, it just lacks some energy and the guitars are too over driven for the MH sound.

GREAT Song

This song is powerful from the opening guitar riffs, telling its tale with a grace not evident with most southern rock story songs. Molly Hatchet is as vibrant today as after their early career run.

Not a special song. Too generic. Loved the Thunder Strikes Twice album..

We do have a radio station called 97.7 "The Dawg", out of Burlington, Ks,. that does play Molly Hatchet, Skynyrd, etc., but just not enough. I'm glad I still have my old vinyl LP's, and plenty of southern rock downloaded on my computer. Man, I love the early Skynyrd, Blackfoot, Hatchet, etc.!!!!!!!

I guess it depends on where you live...here in Oklahoma(where I think it's a law to listen to southern rock) you still get alot of Hatchet, Skynard, Outlaws, etc..on a few of the rock and classic rock stations.

Molly Hatchett used the art of Frank Frazetta for their album covers. Frazetta has a wicked imagination. Used to have a Jig Saw puzzle of "Death Dealer" (from Hatchett's first album cover). It was great. Oh yeah, 2 thumbs up for Hatchett!!!!! One of the great bands that you no longer hear on the radio!!!!!!! Thanks for the upload.......
