David Ruffin recorded this on the MOTOWN label which is direct from my 45 rpm single, (there's a longer version!), not that long after in the early 90's he died (mentioned in the brilliant film "The Temptations"-1998), a departure from my Classic 60's Motown for a change, and was a US Gold disc! What do you think? JOHN

Ooh, this is real nice. I am a sucker for David's voice. I know he recorded loads of solo albums for Motown and had lots of singles released, but this was one of his two (only!) big hits. It topped the R&B Charts and was a Top Ten hit in both the US and UK (#9 and #10, respectively) - and deservedly so!!! Such a great singer, and such a great song. Thanks, John!! ;-)
