Give the dude a break, he is pushing 70, In my humble opinion he is first and foremost a poet, he is then a folk musician, he is then a singer. Put bluntly Bob can't sing... pitch perfect... but NOBODY can sing his stuff anywhere close to his versions. If you don't like it then go listen to some Sony music controlled garbage they are pumping out these days, no apprenticeship, no originality, no soul, so nothing that stirs the emotions. Still think PGABTK is is greatest work.

There is a MUCH better video of this World Premier performance of this song (9 Oct 2001 in Medford, OR) posted by hollis1960, Movie 79. It is not a 2002 performance, it is the first time he ever performed it, date given earlier.
