This is the only cover of this that I like because she really made it her own instead of just re-doing Misia but in english. Great Job Erykah!

Only Badu would perform such a beautiful song translated from the Japanese version/language and sing it beautifully as if it was her own. I love Badu. She made me fall deep in love with so-called Neo-soul with her first album. I gotta meet this woman and soak in her vibes. Damn I aint ever felt this way about another woman, except Georgia Anne Muldrow (no homo).

@JazzyZenBrotha Yes, "Tell me a story that happened in the distant past..." I got "Mars And Roses Tour" Dvd recently, with a three black gospel choir. I was waiting that since I heard "The Glory Day" for the first time. I would like to see it with a bigger choir, to make it powerfull, but at the time was like a vision come true

@JulioPremium - Very well said, my friend. I usually stick with the originals. I have all 9 of MISIA's albums as well and even some of her remix cds. You're right, she is very remarkable. I'm a Black man from the USA & love her work. Her voice extends beyond the cultural horizons and touches the hearts of "music fans" world wide. I'm sure you've heard MISIA's collaboration song with ERYKAH BADU called "Akai Inochi." It's on Misia's "Mars & Roses" album and the song is beautiful.
