@Clerpents Runaway was never a doowop song anyway. It's not the right chord progression for starters, and that was intentional because Del Shannon was fed up of all that blue moon shit in the charts. There's only one singer in it as well; doo wop gets its name from the nonsense lyrics the backing vocalists sang. Oh, and this cover is straight-up wank.
