BBVD was pretty good. the drummer uses too much crash cymbal though. this song is best played with stiff brushes, and the rolls are unnecessary. the brushes give it a much cooler scratchy sound. the snare hits are too heavy for this type of smoky blues club sound. just my opinion as a fellow swing drummer.

Great cover, but for me the iconic version is Cab Calloway's original, with his dancing rotoscoped onto a cartoon walrus-ghost, singing to a terrified Betty Boop and Bimbo. ;-) Oh, and oblig: 21 people have been kicking the gong around too much.
