I want to give a little back story on each song that I post, just for fun. :)

I originally wrote this song in response to The Weasel King's remix competition, only later to add different melodies. Jason wrote a catchy chorus and had Mark narrate over the PostChorus. This ended up being one of our most popular songs to date. :)

I m surprised Severus died I mean really he did predict everything that was going to happen but still he probably made a anti-Venom or special wand or something

I still cry about this. Now I know a lot of people hated Snape but he was truly a good character. He didn't have to stay a spy for Dumbledore. He was protecting Harry. Snape was truly the bravest man I ever knew. No matter what he had done he still has a part in my heart. Even though he killed Dumbledore he had told him to do it. All of it to protect Harry. R.I.P Severus Snape.

I always get teary-eyed when listening to this song. People don't realize what Snape did for everyone. A lot of people hate him for the way his character was and say he became good selfishly.Look at his story though.. yes he becomes good and starts spying for the sake of Lily, but after she died he didn't have to stay a spy. He didn't have to protect and help Harry over and over again. These are the reasons Snape is one of my favorite characters. Because honestly he played a big part in helping take down Voldemort.

This song really expresses Snape. He knew that he had to kill Dumbledore, but for everyone's good. He was only trying to gain Voldemort's trust so he could destroy the last horcrux and kill Voldemort from the behind. Meanwhile, he did not know that in less than a year he would meet his demise. Voldemort's snake, Nagini, mauled him and threw him to the ground. Harry and the Trio showed up. Snape looked at them. He looked very closely and told Harry to look into his eyes. Harry obeyed. He looked into Snape's eyes. Snape stared into Harry's eyes. Moments later, his eyes closed and his heart stopped beating. He had died. Later on, Harry figured out the reason Snape hated the Trio was because they each had a part of Lily. Harry had her green eyes, Ron had her red hair, and Hermione had her brains of smartness. Severus Snape was, indeed, the bravest man ever.

I may be incorrect but with his last breath, doesn't Snape ask harry to look at him. So as to see his eyes, the same eyes his mother had, once more before he died. Those eyes, I always thought, were the real reason he hated Harry. Not because of his father, but because every time he looked at Harry he was reminded of his soul crushing loss and the fact that Harry was closer then, than he would ever be to Lilly Potter.
